Matthew Carter is a Research Associate in the Signal Processing Group at the University of Liverpool. He is enthusiastic about the intersection of AI, statistical inference methods, and accelerated computing technologies—such as high-performance computing (HPC), distributed systems, and FPGAs—and how they can jointly enhance decision-making processes. His research focuses on leveraging these scalable machine learning algorithms to accelerate and improve decision-making.
